Hire AI employees for your home service business.
Phones answered. Leads followed up. Jobs booked. Versafield builds AI employees that take the hats off your plate — so you can work on the business, not just in it.
Built by a roofing company owner in the Phoenix Metro.
You're not short on work. You're short on hats.
- Owner
- Office manager
- Dispatcher
- Sales rep
- Bookkeeper
- After-hours answering service
If you run a home service business, you wear every one of those hats — and the jobs that fall through are never the big ones. It's the call that came in at 7:40pm and went to voicemail. The lead that got a quote and never heard from you again. The invoice that went out two weeks late.
Your competitors aren't winning those jobs because they're better roofers, plumbers, or electricians. They're winning because somebody — or something — answered, followed up, and stayed on it.
That's the job of an AI employee.
Meet your new hires.
You don't buy software from Versafield. You hire employees. Each one is trained on your business — your services, your area, your prices, your way of talking to customers — and each one clocks in 24/7.

Fit call (30 minutes)
We look at where your time actually goes and which hats are heaviest. If an AI employee isn't the fix, we'll tell you.
Onboarding calls
A few recorded video calls — marketing, sales, scheduling, operations. We ask a lot of well-crafted questions, because your employees can only be as good as what they know about your business.
We build your employees
Each one is set up inside your business: your systems, your calendar, your CRM, your rules — including hard limits on what they can do without a human's approval.
Shadow mode
Your employees start in parallel while your current process still runs. You see exactly what they would have said and done. We tune until you'd trust them live.
Clock-in day
They go live. We watch the logs, keep tuning, and maintain everything. You get your time back.
Built in a roofing company first.
Versafield wasn't dreamed up in a boardroom. Brennen Harris runs Roof Boyz (opens in a new tab), a roofing company in the Phoenix Metro, and built these systems for his own business first:
- Phones answered after hours — no more morning voicemail triage
- Every lead followed up in under a minute
- Follow-ups that send themselves, on schedule, every time
- Invoices that go out like clockwork
- Materials ordered and labor crews scheduled without lifting a finger
The result, in his words: time to work on the business, not just in it. Versafield exists to install that same setup in yours.
Built by a tech-forward home service business owner. Not a guru. Not a tech bro.
Flat monthly rate. No hourly billing, no per-call surprises.
Each AI employee has a one-time setup fee (quoted after your fit call — it depends on your business size and how many systems we're connecting) and a flat monthly rate after that:
- Receptionistfrom $950/mo
- Lead Follow-Upfrom $700/mo
- Quote Follow-Upfrom $600/mo
- Ops Coordinatorfrom $800/mo
- Back Officefrom $600/mo
No long contracts to get started. Your employees are maintained, monitored, and improved as part of the monthly rate — when the technology gets better, your employees get better.
FAQ
Do AI employees replace my staff?
No. They take the hats nobody has time to wear — the after-hours calls, the fifth follow-up, the invoice that waits a week. Your people do the work only people can do. Most owners use the freed-up time to sell and run better jobs, not to cut heads.
What do I need to have in place already?
A business phone number, a calendar, and whatever you currently use to track jobs — even if that's a spreadsheet. Part of onboarding is connecting your employees to what you already run.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
Every employee is built with hard limits: things it can never do without a human's approval (final prices, discounts, big orders, payment disputes). It also starts in shadow mode, where you review its work before it ever talks to a customer live. And every action it takes is logged.
How fast can an employee start?
Most first hires are live within a few weeks of the fit call, depending on how quickly we get through the onboarding calls together.
Which businesses is this for?
Home service companies first — roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and the like — because that's the world Versafield was built in. If you run a different kind of service business and the hats sound familiar, book a call anyway.
Is my business information private?
Yes. Each company gets its own dedicated environment and its own knowledge base. Your employees only ever work for your business, and your information isn't shared with other clients.
Why not just buy an AI tool myself?
You can — the same way you can buy a truck and a ladder and roof your own house. What you're hiring here is the implementation, the training on your business, the guardrails, and someone who maintains it all. Most owners don't have spare hours to become AI experts. That's the hat we're asking you to hand over first.
Which hat comes off first?
Book a 30-minute fit call. We'll map where your hours are going and tell you honestly which employee would pay for itself first.
